My favorite character is Pocahontas. She is beyond any other Disney heroine. She is a real woman. I love her proud Native American stance and stare, and her love of nature and innate understanding of humanity and love. When she throws herself over John Smith as her father is swinging to save his life, I cry every time. She has a deeper and stronger purpose and sense of self than most other not only Disney heroines, but heroines in general even in normal movies. The lyrics of all of her songs are so meaningful, they blow my mind.
Love Pocahontas too, she really is just an amazing character both in animated form and in real life too. Can't wait to see the rest of your disney challenge :)
